Washington: “What could possibly go wrong?” asked the American nation hours before they entered into a complex war in middle east, by launching deadly missile strikes into Syria.

“I mean, what’s the worst that could happen?” asked the collective American conscience as the missiles rained over Syria, embroiling the world’s leading power in a complicated domestic fight with even greater international repercussions that some are warning could launch a third world war.

“It’s not like this is going to launch a third world war!” added the American people.

“I mean, what are the chances that we’ll have to exit a country in humiliation because we took military action that we could not sustain? What are the chances that our actions could tip the world over into a state of total war?” said America.

“What, Russia is involved in this war too? And we have an old man with no experience at the helm? I’m sure that won’t be an issue, not like we’ve had any problems with that nation before” it went on to express.

“Come on, how bad could things really get? It’s not like we’re even doing anything morally dubious. There isn’t even any precedent that might make us at least pause and think” ended America.
