Lahore – Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif has given a serious dressing down to his son and political heir Hamza Shahbaz, after he managed to win zero gold crowns compared to the three gold crowns his cousin Maryam Nawaz recently received.

“I really don’t want to hear how all the other political heirs are doing, I just want to know why you haven’t gotten any gold crowns when your cousin Maryam has won three!” the CM was heard questioning Hamza as per a source close to The Dependent.

Hamza, who The Dependent has learned spent the entire time looking at his feet and scuffing his shoes, attempted to mumble his response by saying “Ali Tareen just lost a really easy election” but the CM was having none of it and told Hamza to not talk back at him.

“Back when I was younger, I got nothing but Gold Crowns and your uncle Nawaz got none. But look how fate works! His daughter has so many and my son has none!” he was heard lamenting according to reliable sources.

The fuming Shehbaz also gave an unverifiable number of backhands and ear flicks to Hamza, while his mother looked on and gave weak defences asking her husband to leave their son be.

“Let him go na Shehbaz ji. He has other talents” she was heard saying.

The Dependent can also verify that Shehbaz ended the bearatement on a more positive note, offering Hamza words of advice. However, he did send Hamza off to bed after locking his gaming console in the living room cabinet.

“I know you are a very talented child, but you need to start focusing and applying yourself like your cousin Maryam” he ended.
