The embattled Quaid of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) has suffered yet another blow as the bakery that he visited was out of lemon tarts.

“Yes, when we say that they were out, we don’t mean that there were lesser units than the two dozen order that Mian Saab wanted, but that there was not a single unit,” said federal minister of state for information Marriyum Aurangzeb, speaking to reporters.

“If you think this is just a coincidence, you are clearly not looking at the situation close enough.”

“If a three-time prime minister does not have access to power or lemon tarts, what hope does the rest of the country have,” asked an emotional Nawaz Sharif, speaking to a gathered crowd of party workers outside Tehzeeb Bakers in Islamabad.

“And the non-democratic forces always try to throw a fig leaf of the veneer of fairyplay,” continued.

“No, I don’t accept that. Because lemon rolls are not – are NOT – lemon tarts.” “This is bullsh*t,” he added.
