Pakistan’s longstanding commitment to the war against terror, brought into question recently by US President Donald Trump, could be verified by independent, third party agencies like Axact International. These were the views of the Foreign Office in the official spokesperson’s briefing on Saturday.
“By all means, do approach Axact and ask them whether they think Pakistan has been performing well and with commitment in the war on terror and we think you would get an accurate answer,” said Dr Muhammad Faisal, spokesperson.
“Yes, it is a Pakistani accreditation agency but it has an international presence,” he continued. “We have absolutely no control over them. We went there only once to ask them to carry out an audit of our war efforts and any possible support that we are alleged to be giving sections of the militants.”
“We told Axact that if they thought we were performing on point, that they could accredit this. And, I don’t know, maybe put this in the form of a diploma, the photocopies of which we could send the nation’s of the world.”
