A leading hotel magnate, our desi Hilton, has come back to Pakistan after his self-imposed exile of four years. The hotel magnate was said to have been at odds with the president. After returning, he had a meeting with the new prime minister.
Our man also has developed a taste for Iqbal, apparently. He recently had an Iqbal Gallery inaugurated at his hotel by Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif, who had, years ago, also inaugurated the new wing of the hotel in Lahore.
Once close to the PPP but reportedly distanced by the party itself, he is now better with the League.
