LAHORE – Doctors at Sharif Medical City Hospital have advised former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif daily walk towards 80s politics over the next six weeks as long-term cure for his ailment, The Dependent has reliably learnt.

Sharif, who has been released on bail for six week on medical grounds, and decided for medical treatment at Sharif Medical City Hospital, is still undecided on following the advice of doctors and is mulling going to other doctors for a checkup.

Sharif, who was released from Kot Lakhpat Jail late Tuesday night, met his personal physician Dr Adnan at Jati Umra, who also agreed that the suggested walk would be good for his heart and his blood pressure.

“I’ve had a detailed look at your angiography and if you want long-term relief, you just need to be nice to them, follow their policies, and you just can’t challenge their authority,” Dr Adnan told Sharif, sources privy to the conversation have informed The Dependent.

Even so, Sharif still wanted second, third and 71st opinions. Some doctors have also advised Sharif to pretend he has no memory of what happened between May 2013 and July 2017. Others have suggested pleading insanity for the same period.

“You’ve done it before, you can do it again. Just start with a slow walk towards 80s politics and soon you’ll be running!” Dr Adnan told Nawaz.
