In a move aimed at increasing efficiency and to speed up the staff turnover at the Finance ministry and its associated economic team(s), a ‘Skip Ad’ option will be available on all future inductions enabling the general public, civil servants and all other stakeholders to save time by skipping over (after the mandatory 10 seconds) the tenure of any new member in the economic team.

A notification issued by the PM office explained the move saying, “In order to choose the best economic team the Prime Minister, using his vast experience and keen eye for talent from his cricketing days, has decided to really shake things up every month or so in order to get a working combination that can get to work. In the meanwhile this option has been made available to relive some of the stress being faced by the citizenry in general and those tasked with working under the best economic team ever.”

Speaking with The Dependent Special Assistant to the PM Naeem Ul Haque commented that although all choices made by PM Khan are made on merit, supported by multiple references and necessary research sometimes, very rarely, it just isn’t a good fit thereby necessitating a change.

To a follow-up question highlighting the removal of Asad Umar, Jahanzeb Khan, Younis Dagha, Tariq Bajwa in less than a year; Hammad Azhar’s one day full ministership and rumours of Shabbar Zaidi’s imminent exit, Naeem Ul Haq replied, “have you seen our tweets on the new definition of treason?”
