Hoping against hope that it would somehow fix itself, local man Shahzain Ahmad turned up the volume of his car radio to drown out the strange noises coming from his car’s engine.
Sending out a prayer to any and all deities above, the are man convinced himself that he really really wanted to listen to the program running on the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s radio channel.
Even as the car struggled and protested, the dial on the radio kept being turned in am unmistakably upwards direction, with information on the day’s gold rates drowning out the clinking and clanking continually getting louder.
“Huh, would you look at that, I think it stopped, probably just something stuck in the wheel” said the car owner badly misdiagnosing the problem, which clearly was a major engine issue.
Even as the noise from the engine and the radio battled for dominance, the bass was turned up to a maximum, giving the radio the win.
“I think the noise from the brakes has also subsided” he said after increasing the volume even more.
While the man did reach his destination successfully, the car refused to start when he was about to head back again, to which the car owner expressed great shock, saying it had been just fine this morning.
At press time, the man was complaining to his mechanic, saying the car had been totally fine and he had no idea what could have caused it to break down this way.
