In the wake of the 143 pc tariff that the PTI government has introduced on gas prices for all user categories, government officials are encouraging citizens to set up donation funds to help pay what will be significantly higher gas bills these winters.

“I would advise that people try to get on this early and set these donation funds up early” said Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry.

“It’s still pretty warm and you won’t really feel a hit right now because gas is just being used for cooking, but trust me, its gonna shoot up when the winters come along” he went on to say.

You water heaters and your gas heaters are all going to guzzle up this expensive new gas, and we would advise that you call upon all individuals in your community to donate Rs 10 to you so you can actually manage to pay your gas bill, he went on to say.

“Trust us this is exactly how to go about things. There is no other alternative and we can assure you that this method works, even if it has never been proven” he said in response to a journalist’s question.

Meanwhile, KP senior Minister Shahram Tarakai has said in a tweet that the founding fathers of Pakistan also advised people to create dam funds to pay their phone bills. He promises that phone bills did exist back then and that this totally happened.
