ISLAMABAD – Federal Information Minister and the spokesperson of the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) led government Fawad Chaudhary on Friday expressed hope that after successfully dealing with the Netherlands, the government would also be able to deal with Punjab Information Minister Fayazul Hassan Chohan.

Chaudhary also expressed his belief that along with Chohan, other party members like Aamir Liaquat Hussain also needed to be controlled.

However, he made it clear that the government still believes that a strategy needs to be devised on a national level for such an attempt, saying that the task is of such magnitude that the government alone cannot manage it.

“In fact Chohan is not just a national issue, it is a problem that should concern the entire Muslim ummah,” the Information Minister said while talking to The Dependent.

He also said that while a small group of people in Pakistan may try to defend Chohan, the majority could not be held responsible for the irresponsible acts of that small group.

“No person should behave like he does – let alone an information minister,” Chaudhary said. “This is especially sad given that he has the example of another extraordinary information minister around him,” the Federal Information Minister added.
