ISLAMABAD – As Washington and Islamabad engage in a war of words over United States (US) President Donald Trump’s recent tweets, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday claimed that the fallout shouldn’t mean that everyone forgets that he was ‘unfairly ousted as the Prime Minister’.
The former premier also threatened to lift the curtain on who has been trying to divert the attention from the July verdict to more current and pertinent subjects if “they” do not stop their “propaganda”.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad upon his return from a much-speculated visit to Saudi Arabia, Nawaz said: “The fact that in January 2018 matters as recent as July 2017 are being overlooked, nay forgotten, shows the shortsightedness of the current regime.”
Sharif further said that a democratic regime would never have done this.
“If we had a democratic regime in place instead of a military dictatorship, they would never have forgotten this,” he maintained.
“They would never have forgotten that I was unfairly removed, and even after constantly asking the reason, no one has given me a reply. I have rendered everyone speechless.”
The ex-PM, whose party is attempting to gather support in the lead-up to the General Election this year, began his press conference by asserting that his party and the government do not care for him to counter those trying to silence his questions.
“Only if we had a PML-N government in place…” he left the sentence half finished.

His resignation has nothing to do with all this. If he behind trumps threats to Pakistan then it’s shameful. What a loser
