The police should be congratulated for their efforts in maintaining peace during the holy month of Muharram. It has been reported that around 8,000 police personnel were deployed across the country for maintaining security.
It is important to note that in previous years, police personnel have achieved martyrdom while preventing terrorists from successfully carrying their objectives in this holy month. It is important that in the future the police service should be provided with the necessary equipment and cooperation in anticipation for a tight security during this month.
