Dry port workers to have social security dispensary
DASKA - A social security dispensary would be set up for the staff of Sambrial Dry Port, said Noor-ul-Haq, the employees union president, addressing a meeting.
He said all-out efforts were being made to solve the problems of the dry port workers with the cooperation of the management. General Secretary Baber Saeed also spoke on this occasion.

KARACHI - Sindh Katchi Abadis and Spatial Development Minister Engineer Muhammad Rafique assured the protesting lower staff employees of the Education Department on Saturday that their issue would be resolved on priority basis. KARACHI - Thousands of employees of the Pakistan Railways (PR) might go on a strike to protest the PR's move to stop providing medicines to them. LAHORE - Participants of the consultative workshop on "Formulation of National Policy for Home-Based Workers" on Friday discussed draft of the National Policy on Home-Based Workers and agreed to go ahead with it at the national level.
