LAHORE - A man, Shahid, shot down his brother, Zahid, and injured father Nazir Ahmad and neighbor Bashir Ahmad, over a property dispute in Samanabad police precincts on Friday. LAHORE - Zafar Iqbal, 50, was shot in Iqbal Town on Monday, allegedly by some men with whom he had a property ownership dispute. Zafar, a resident of Jahenzaib Block, Iqbal Town, had a dispute with his business partner, Nazir, over the ownership of some property. LAHORE - An accountability court on Wednesday directed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to freeze the bank accounts of the accused in the Bank of Punjab (BoP) loan scam, including former president Hamesh Khan, Shoaib Qureshi and Haroon Aziz, along with two directors of Haris Steel Mills, Sheikh Afzal and Sheikh Munir.

LONDON - Global direct real estate investment is forecast to rise 20 percent this year to $380 billion, led by a sharp rebound in the United States, with total volumes still about half the market's 2007 peak, a report said.
