MoC finalises car depreciation policy

LAHORE - The Ministry of Commerce (MoC) has directed the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to implement the Economic Coordination Committee's (ECC) decision on rationalising the prices of locally manufactured cars. The ministry has called on the FBR to enhance the depreciation value cap from 50 percent to 60 percent for car imports.
