LAHORE - The national selection committee of the Pakistan Hockey Federation has spotted 63 players during the 30th National Junior Hockey Championship held in Bahawalpur from February 26 to March 8.

LAHORE - The national selection committee of the Pakistan Hockey Federation has spotted 63 probable players during the the 30th National Junior Hockey Championship held in Bahawalpur. LAHORE - The Pakistan Hockey Federation has announced a new selection committee, comprising Olympian Abdul Hanif Khan (chairman), Khalid Bashir and Mohammad Arshad Chaudhary (members).
The PHF nominated Hassan Sardar and Manzoor Hussain Junior as technocrats in the PHF Executive Board. Zafar Ali Khan and M. Asad Malik have been relieved from the executive board. One seat of technocrat still remains vacant. The issue will be discussed in the board meeting.

PHF gets Rs 120 million from govt

LAHORE - The federal government has sanctioned Rs 120 for the Pakistan Hockey Federation and has promised to increase the amount in the next year to meet the PHF's demand of Rs 500 million. LAHORE - The final of the 3rd Tray Hockey Championship will be played between PHF Academy and Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on January 23 at the Faisalabad Hockey Stadium. The final will start at 2pm.

LAHORE - The Pakistan Hockey Federation will take disciplinary action against the players who speak against the federation, says PHF Secretary Asif Bajwa. Talking to journalists here at the National Hockey Stadium, Bajwa said that all the players are bound to observe PHF's code of conduct and any player violating the law would face action.

PHF likely to change dates of Egypt series

LAHORE - The Pakistan Hockey Federation is considering change in the dates of Pakistan and Egypt hockey test series to avoid clash with the Cricket World Cup. The PHF and its Egyptian counterparts have agreed to hold a hockey series and as the plan goes, it was to be held in February-March on a reciprocal basis in which Pakistan would first visit Egypt and then they would make a return visit in March.
