LAHORE - Burewala thrashed Sahiwal by eight wickets in the NBP Okara Cricket Tournament at Okara Gymkhana Ground, Okara. The Okara District Cricket Association is playing host to the event at the facility between Okara Sports Football Club Stadium and Young Tigers Hockey Club Stadium.

Bohranwali Stadium to host NBP Cup final

LAHORE - Bohranwali Ground, the venue for the 1995 Asian Club Championship clash between Crescent Textile Mills and Sri Lanka's Saunders FC, will host the final of the 21st NBP Football Cup on April 27. The PFF has approved two venues for the upcoming event, being hosted by PMC Athletico Club Faisalabad. Bohranwali Ground will act as the main venue, hosting 19 matches, while PMC Ground will be utilised for rest of 32-match show. The NBP Cup will commence on April 14.

LAHORE - The eighth All Pakistan National Bank Cricket Cup 2011 will start from Tuesday (today) at Okara. On the opening day, Khanewal will face Okara at the Okara Gymkhana ground. The match will start at 10am. Mr Shakeel will be the umpire for the match.

Faisal asks FIFA Referees to supervise NBP Cup

LAHORE - PFF President Faisal Saleh Hayat has directed the current FIFA Referees of Pakistan to supervise the 21st National Bank Football Cup, to be played from April 14 to 27 at PMC Ground, Faisalabad.
All the referees of various categories have been asked to report to Match Commissioner/Referee Assessor for a Physical Fitness Test on April 13.

LAHORE - Pakistan Football Federation President Faisal Saleh Hayat has approved the Local Organisation Committee (LOC) for the 21st NBP National Football Challenge Cup (NFCC) at Faisalabad. Sixteen teams have been invited to prove their mettle in the event.

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has appointed Qamar Hussain as President of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), for a period of three years. He would replace the former NBP Chief Ali Raza, who had worked at the post for almost a decade.

PMC to host NBP Challenge Cup

LAHORE - Sixteen teams have being invited to show their mettle in the 21st NBP National Football Challenge Cup (NFCC) at Faisalabad. NBP Multan stage win

LAHORE - NBP Multan, SBP Karachi and SBP Multan won their matches of the seventh SBP Governor Cup Inter-Bank Super Series Cricket Tournament. Three matches were played on Sunday. In the first match, NBP Multan defeated PPCBL Lahore by seven wickets.
The Second match was played between SBP Karachi and SBP Multan, with SBP Karachi winning by seven wickets after chasing the target of 186 runs in 16.5 overs. In the last match of the day, SBP Multan defeated Bank Alfalah by 23 runs.

LAHORE - National Bank of Pakistan has terminated the contracts of the spot-fixing trio following the ban on players by the ICC tribunal. The three Pakistan cricketers, banned for a minimum five years for corruption, have been sacked from the bank. LAHORE - National Bank defeated ZTBL by eight wickets in the Faysal Bank One-Day National Cup Division-I match here at the Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday. LAHORE - The National One-day Cricket Cup match between National Bank of Pakistan and Multan Tigers ended in a tie here Tuesday at the Gaddafi Stadium.

LAHORE - SSGC, NBP, Army and PIA won their respective matches of the 58th National Hockey Championship, which is in progress at the Faisalabad Hockey Stadium.
