Punjab govt seeks judicial probe into governor’s killing

LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday said his government had written a letter to the federal government seeking a judicial inquiry into the Governor Salmaan Taseer's assassination. He said he hoped that the federal government would approach Islamabad High Court for formation of a commission.

ISLAMABAD - The Executive Director Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Mahmood Jamal Wednesday handed over the final postmortem report of Punjab Governor Salman Taseer's murder to Muhammad Gulfaraz, a sub-inspector of Kohsar Police Station.
