Saying that it was ridiculous that a person of such moral character could ever be the head of state of the country, a petition seeking to nullify President Arif Alvi’s election to the highest office in the land has argued that he isn’t even a real doctor.

“This man shamelessly uses the title of ‘Doctor’ before his name. People are misled and call him ‘Doctor sb’. I’ve even heard the term “Mr President Doctor” thrown around. And he just laps it up, taking what’s not his” read a subsection of the petition that has gone largely unnoticed.

“Forget Sadiq and Ameen, this man is clearly an imposter!” it thundered.

“What will foreign heads of state think when he introduces himself as Dr Alvi? They will think he is a medical doctor or maybe a PhD. But this man as just a charade.”

“Oh sure they may be impressed in the short term, but when other countries find out he is a sham, they will never be able to trust Pakistan, its people or its government ever again” it read.

Meanwhile, it has also been learned that while the main topic of the petition that was accepted by the SHC is in fact over him tampering with court records, experts feel that the dentists not being real doctors factor might outweigh even that.

“This is a matter of national importance and the court might just have accepted the petition to finally put this matter to rest” said one legal commentator.
