As the Independence Day is right around the corner, Strepsils Stereo has returned with another season and another Acapella national song Mera Pakistan. This time an original composed especially for the Independence Day.
The lyrics penned by Ali Noor, reflect upon the feelings of the entire nation, serving as a reminder of the past and leaving with the chant for a better tomorrow. The song has been composed to deliver a message of unity, hope and celebration of diversity in Pakistan.
The song produced by Ali Noor and BIY Music was launched on August 12 and features more than 100 voices and 9 music artists nationwide, who come together to give us this catchy Acapella version of the song.
Strepsils Stereo being the first and only Acapella based music platform in Pakistan has given us songs like Khayal Rakhna, Rang De and Dil Jo Chahey after its launch in 2017. The songs from the previous season have garnered more than 5 million views each that we are still humming every now and then. This time it has returned with Mera Pakistan and kept us tapping and moving to the tune during the three-minute song.
The colourful and energetic vibes from the song has us all geared up for the Independence Day. It features artists including Ali Noor, Ahsan Pervez, Shiraz Uppal, Sara Haider, Ayesha Omar, Kami Paul, Rabi Peerzada and upcoming talent Haddi Uppal who have collaborated for this new song. We certainly cannot wait to see what is in store next.
“Music is an important manifestation of the depth, diversity and vibrancy of a culture. Mera Pakistan speaks the language of a resilient youth who is hopeful for the change this nation has been waiting for.” said Ali Noor while talking about the first song of season 2.
