CAA sacked 90 employees during 3 years

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has sacked 90 employees on various charges including, bogus degree, disciplinary action or guilty of being corrupt during the last three years, according to recently compiled data by the Ministry of Aviation.

As per the breakup of sacked employees in various cadres and groups, 39 were sent home on charges of presenting fake degrees, 35 on unauthorized absence, and the rest lot faced miscellaneous charges like, inefficiency, misuse of authority, misconduct, negligence, or furnishing false information.

Meanwhile, the official document indicated that seven employees of the organisation were re-instated on court orders following not adopting proper procedures for dismissal of their services.
