The way I see it Islam is not a problem, being a Muslim makes things complicated, as we need to classify ourselves into three categories; moderate, liberal, extremist.
Extremism in itself is a menace. However, once someone starts approving of it, it becomes an even bigger issue. We need to stand up and tell the extremists that we are no less Muslims than you are and my religion does not say to blow up educational institutes, government buildings, suicide bombing, and kill people in the name of Islam. The religion Islam teaches us tolerance and it is the simplest religion, it is not as complicated as people have made it.
