Pakistans anti-terrorism law needs to be amended as soon as possible as thousands of terrorists have been bailed out in courts and again have been involved in terrorist activities. Under the anti-terrorism act, the terrorists taken into custody by the security forces can be bailed out.
I am sure a large number of people are not even aware of this law which is creating problems for the citizens and security forces of Pakistan.
The government talks about zero tolerance and on the other hand, they do not realise that such laws are only making things easier for the terrorists to strike again. Our Prime Minister discussed this law in the National Assembly a few days ago. It is high time that such law is quickly made effective.
