Every thoughtful Pakistani is shocked to watch the MQM and the PML(N) leaders at each others throat, abusing and accusing each other outside parliament. They mounted scathing attacks on the personal lives and family relationship of their party heads. This is the moral bankruptcy of our political leaders.
Peoples expectations from their politician have been shattered. These politicians have no consideration for their sufferings and solutions to the issues and problems faced by the common man. This was a reminder that how intolerant the society has become. Instead of resolving various issues, like inflation, gas and electricity loadshedding, they prefer to indulge in character assassination of each other.
Those who believe that democracy is not suited to temperament of Pakistan must be very happy to see the politician once again proving themselves without any wisdom and tolerance.
