I would like to invite attention of the concerned authorities towards dilapidated condition of Mareer Hassan Road, Rawalpindi. As this road may rightly be termed a very busy road, especially for those who are its use it frequently to and from offices, schools, colleges universities and back. This horrible stretch of road is full with cracks staring from Mareer Chowk to Jhanda Point. Open manhole very close to Mareer Chowk signal might cause serious accidents, especially at night. Road lights mostly remain turned off. Huge traffic jam is usually observed and people have to wait for 10-15 minutes at the traffic signal.
I request the authorities of RDA to think about the reconstruction of Mareer Hassan Road and most importantly to rebuild it as a 6 to 8 lane road so that people may feel safe and have sigh of relief while driving on this portion of road.
