ISLAMABAD – Students from different schools, colleges and universities on Friday conveyed a message of peace and interfaith harmony by staging dramas. They were performing in an art competition organised by Interfaith League against Poverty (I-LAP) here at Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA).
PNCA Director General Tauqeer Nasir was chief guest on the occasion while writers, intellectuals and journalists also attended the drama competition under the theme of “Interfaith Harmony is the way to Peace”.
Tauqeer Nasir said that interfaith harmony was the only way to get rid of this so-called war on terrorism which badly affected the country and added that people belonging to all religions should join their hands against extremism.
