The Meteorologist Department on Monday forecast that Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, upper Sindh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir are likely to receive rain on Tuesday.
The department said the spate of current monsoon showers in the upper areas of the country were likely to continue for another two days.
The Met forecast further said parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir had received rain with gusty winds and thunderstorm on Monday, while Mianwali recorded maximum rain measuring 58mm. Dalbadin and Turbat witnessed maximum temperatures at 44°C.
