Organisers of the India Today Conclave say, “We wish that Imran Khan had used this opportunity to express his views at the Conclave with all the force and lucidity that he possesses.” In my opinion, Imran Khan has actually expressed his views using the opportunity in the best possible manner. One needs common sense to understand his views.
Organisers of Conclave also say, “We do not endorse the views of any of our speakers but we do stand for the freedom of expression in all that we do; it’s an essential principle of a free nation and free media.” My question to them is: Would you be ready to offer Ajmal Kasab the same platform to express his views in the name of freedom of expression following the essential principle of a free nation and free media?
