Prime Minister Imran Khan who is currently on ‘Mission Kashmir’ in New York for seven days to attend the UNGA Session was able to secure a free ride back to Bani Gala after a highly successful and clearly productive meeting with Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi. After a joint meeting that was attended by various high ranking US officials and billionaire businessmen, PM Khan requested a one-on-one meeting with the Uber Chief that lasted for ten minutes.
“As soon as the Prime Minister exited the room, I could tell from that unmistakable grin that he had done it yet again”, explained Foreign Minister hah Mehmood Qureshi.
“You see, PM Khan is always thinking about the country, not himself. In one swift move he executed some masterful diplomacy by getting a private meeting with Mr. Khosrowshahi to discuss the Kashmir issue while saving a boatload of money by getting a us a free ride back home as well”, he added.
PM’s Special Assistant on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Zulfiqar Bukhari later shared a tweet on the matter saying, “This has been secretly in the works for quite some time. PM Khan’s decision to drive around all foreign dignitaries visiting Pakistan this past year was actually being done through the Uber platform to get that coveted 5-star rating that has now finally paid off, getting us this complimentary ride back home. #howitsdone #aslitiger.”
