KARACHI – Aamir Liaquat’s family, growing in number, jobs and controversies, last week decided to move into a larger, more spacious three-Ramzan-transmission apartment.

The decision taken amidst consensus between politician cum televangelist Aamir Liaquat Hussain, his two wives Syeda Tuba Anwar and Syeda Bushra Aamir, along with his two children Dua Aamir and Ahmed Aamir.

Sources close to the family revealed that giving their current accommodation in two-Ramzan-transmission apartment, it would be better for the household if they move into a bigger house.

“Given that they have decided to live their personal lives on Ramzan transmissions at various TV channels, the family decided to further expand their space,” a close relative of Aamir Liaquat said while talking to The Dependent.

“In this regard, moving to a three-Ramzan-transmission place is a great idea till the children grow up and have their own Ramzan shows. The family would then look to move to a five-Ramzan-transmission house to ensure that everyone is comfortably accommodated.

Reports further reveal that after complaints regarding the family from the locality, Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has decided to take strict action.

“With effect from Ramzan 2019, Mr Aamir Liaquat Hussain and his entire family are required to pay housing rent in accordance with their Ramzan-transmission occupancy,” reads a copy of the PEMRA notice available with The Dependent.
