HIGHER TIME DIMENSION – A future Sarfraz Ahmed, 27 years after winning the 2019 ODI World Cup, and a year after becoming the Prime Minister of Pakistan, announcing the decision to sack his then finance minister, dubbed the party leader ‘my Mohammed Amir’, The Dependent’s sources in the higher time dimension have confirmed.

Prime Minister Sarfraz, who goes on to win the 2019 World Cup after dropping Mohammed Amir from the Pakistani squad for the event, and therein lays the foundation of his decades-long political struggle, recalls on October 12, 2046 how sacking his finance minister is a move similar to the sacking of Amir from the team before the 2019 World Cup.

“Chaudhry saab is ‘my Mohammed Amir’, because it was only after dropping Amir that we managed to win the World Cup,” PM Sarfraz says while addressing the press conference in the aftermath of his finance minister’s removal.

Prime Minister Sarfraz Ahmed further maintains that his finance minister is being dropped purely on the basis of a lack of performance.

“Just look at his numbers. It’s similar to how we looked at Amir’s numbers before the 2019 World Cup,” the PM says. “They are absolutely wretched – that’s the only way to describe them.”

At press time, ousted Chaudhry saab had joined an opposition party, reminding PM Sarfraz how he had forgotten who won him the Champions Trophy final in 2017.
