ISLAMABAD – After setting up his premise on the idea that upholding mother’s lineage or taking one’s surname from her is an act that is worthy of shame, confused narr ka bacha on Thursday repeatedly used the father’s name of his intended target as an ostensible insult.

The move left both his backers and detractors confused as to what the veteran narr ka bacha intended to achieve, forcing observers to laud and condemn his words by cherry picking what he had actually done in the midst of hundreds of onlookers.

While senior misogynists appreciate the intended sexism in the trash talk that the narr ka bacha bravely upheld amidst expected backlash, political analysts discern the underlying political intensions which dented the crude misogyny on display.

“It’s obvious that the narr ka bacha intended to politically target his opponent through his jibe, but he also wanted to rely on wretched misogyny to score the points among his intended audience,” notes Yasmine Stephens from Gender Studies Institute at Trinity Western University.

However, political experts believe that the political angle was the primary alignment taken up by the narr ka bacha.

“He masterfully set up the narrative, contradictory it might have eventually been, to use the target’s father’s name as the insult, because that would have given the most political mileage,” said senior political analyst Farhan Virk.
