Indian-Pakistani-Afghan playback singer Adnan Sami Khan walked out of the headquarters of the Indian Air Force in slow-motion moments before it started exploding behind him.
Bystanders say that Sami looked extremely cool while the said incident took place.
“He had this cool, determined-yet-doing-this-effortlessly expression on his face,” said eyewitness Ravi Bhatnagar. “It was quite something.”
“I soiled myself, I am not afraid of admitting, because it was a huge explosion,” he continued. “But Sami did not even flinch. Even if he had planted the explosives, he would have still been affected by the shockwaves, but no.”
Sami’s coolness was testified by other eyewitnesses, including the NSG “Black Cat” commandos who showed up immediately after the scene.
“We immediately reached the spot but he hadn’t managed to get out as he was walking in slow motion,” said Capt Ravi Sipra, of the NSG. “We could have taken him out but we were all spellbound by how awesome he was looking, walking out so coolly like a badass. It was truly a shock-and-awe approach that he had employed.”
