Within days of prominent TV analyst Hasan Nisar expressing regret for supporting the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), journalist Irshad Bhatti suggested that the term “Imran turn” should be used instead of “U-turn”.
While appearing for a panel interview on a local media outlet, Bhatti, while addressing the host, said “do not use the term ‘U-turn’ but instead use ‘Imran turn’,” he said.
In response, the host said that Imran Khan is the prime minister of the country and we do not wish to use his name in such a manner.
Bhatti then suggested that perhaps “Tabdeeli turn” is a term that can be used.
