Noted scientist Agha Waqar has rubbished away all doubts about the ability of the government to build a megadam through donations.
The professor of mechanical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology was speaking at his fellowship ceremony at the Royal Society, London, a rare honour for an engineer to be inducted in the highly prestigious list of scientists.
“When you put your mind to it, anything is possible,” said Waqar, who shot to fame after demonstrating his “water kit” that enabled vehicles to run by using only water as fuel.
“Didn’t I get told by many people, self-styled experts, that my water car was an absolutely impossible and downright silly idea, one that ran counter to the most fundamental laws of science?”
“Now, where are they? And where am I,” he asked.
“Well, who has history proved to be right and whom to be terribly, terribly, hilariously wrong?”
