ISLAMABAD – The PC got stuck and eventually crashed, when US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi tried to reset and reinstall the Windows, well placed technological sources have informed The Dependent.

Mechanical sources within the PC confirmed that Foreign Minister Qureshi went to Settings–>Update & Security–>Recovery–>Reset.

“That’s when it said ‘There was a problem resetting your PC’ and then the system crashed during the process,” the motherboard said while talking to The Dependent.

Experts on both sides advised running the Repair Wizard, but it was only available in Russian and Chinese languages. This was followed by an attempt to refresh the failure of which was attributed to a cross-border virus attack.

“The attack shows that Pakistan continues to harbor militants of all shapes, sizes and forms of existence and provides safe havens to computer viruses as well,” Pompeo said after leaving Islamabad following the failure to reset the system.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Qureshi claimed the system had actually been reset and restarted, and hoped that both Pakistan and US would work on it together.

“Once the money is released to repair it, we would ensure that it is properly reset and the Windows start afresh,” he said while talking to The Dependent.
