Accompanied by thousands of followers, friends and family, the rally being led by PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif has finally managed to reach Lahore’s Allama Iqbal Airport, The Dependent can now confirm.

The mass rally that had set out to greet ousted Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz was supposed to reach the airport on Friday night.

“We would’ve reached earlier if someone hadn’t felt the need to drive so slow” said Mian Shehbaz speaking to The Dependent at the airport’s VIP lounge. While he did not specify who he meant by someone, he was quite clearly staring daggers at his son Hamza Shehbaz.

“Look I get that we waited a little too long to get going but we were pretty sure the flight was going to get delayed, and then someone took forever getting out of bed” he said once more boring holes into Hamza Shehbaz with his eyes.

“And then there were all these containers and this huge traffic mess. And all because I wouldn’t let that Hassan Askari borrow my rain boots.

“Oh God barray bhaia is going to be so mad at me when he finds out exactly how late we got here” he went on to say.

“Damn it Ammi made me promise I’d be on time this time. I’m gonna be in a whole lotta a trouble.”

“Wait till your grandmother hears how this was all your fault” he said, once again addressing Hamza Shehbaz, who continued to stare at the floor and scuff his shoes.
