HARARE: After facing defeat from Pakistan in the final of T20I tri-series in Zimbabwe, Australian player Glenn Maxwell ‘refused’ to shake hands with Sarfraz Ahmed, captain of Pakistan team.
In a video circulating on social media, players can be seen shaking hands after the match but Maxwell apparently refused to do it with Sarfraz.
A Twitter user posted the clip and wrote: “For those who missed it. This is what happened.”

Sports journalist Zainab Abbas also condemned this and wrote: “Not a great gesture by @Gmaxi_32 to refuse to shake hands in the end with the captain of the Pak team, uncalled for and not in the spirit of the game. #PakVAus”.
