LAHORE – Momina Mustehsan, who recently released her first original track, Aaya Na Tu in collaboration with Indian singer Arjun Kanungo, revealed to The Dependent that she vows not to do any serious music until she starts thinking of herself as ‘more than just a pretty face.’

“I realise that I am only complimenting myself for the way I look. More than my music, I focus on how pretty I am,” said the Awari singer.

“Every time I look at the mirror I am like ‘arey, dekho kitni pyari larhki hai’. But I want to be known for something more than just my face, which of course is gorgeous and stunning, but I wish I could stop talking about it – even though, again, it’s so beautiful,” she continued.

The singer revealed that with only one original track to her name, it’s really time that she started living up to her billing as a musician.

“But I just wouldn’t stop mentioning the embodiment of prettiness that his face is,” she said pointing towards her face.

“I mean sometimes I feel I have more chance of talking about the individual features – the eyes, nose, lips, hair – than I have of talking about any future music venture that I would enter.”
