The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government sent legal notice to the Punjab Government on Wednesday for putting the idea of the Bus Rapid Transit in their heads.

“We were led to believe that not only would it be easy, but also that it wouldn’t take all too long,” said KP chief minister Pervez Khattak.

“Well, that’s not the case. This is extremely taxing. Everyone’s complaining and we still don’t have a handle on the whole thing.” “Plus, we were informed that it was going to be cheap,” said Khattak.

“True, we were thinking that we could make it even for cheaper, which might have been wishful thinking on our part, but why it this so expensive? There must be something to this.”

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is seeking damages worth Rs 70 billion from the Punjab Government. The views of the legal experts were not varied.

“Given the current mood of the courts, I’d say KP has a pretty good chance of winning this lawsuit.”
