ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Thursday published the name of Dr Asad Ashraf as ‘returned candidate’ after a by-election for the Senate general seat from Punjab.
The independent candidate had won the Senate by-election on the seat which had fallen vacant following the disqualification of Nehal Hashmi as a senator.
