ISLAMABAD – Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, while reacting to her father’s disqualification by the Supreme Court, said there is no victory greater than being disqualified for being dishonest multiple times.

“Nawaz Sharif! You have won. The supreme institutions of justice are not just declaring you ineligible, but are announcing you as dishonest – again,” Maryam said on Twitter.

“There is no greater victory than being disqualified multiple times for being a dishonest man. There is no greater win than being declared ineligible for so many things,” she further tweeted.

Maryam rubbished the news that all decisions taken by Nawaz Sharif as the PML-N president have been declared null and void.

“Will the gifts that he gave his children, and all the pocket money we got – and continue to get – be declared null and void? No you can’t annul those decisions,” she said while talking to The Dependent.

Maryam further said nobody in the party will ever consider any of the decisions taken by Nawaz Sharif as annulled.

“These include the decision to order Waris Nihari for home delivery during the party meeting, or choosing off white for the lounge walls’ paint at the Jati Umra residence,” she maintained defiantly.
