LAHORE – Former Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed who was seen neighing outside the residence of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif’s resistance on Sunday, has confirmed that the five minute long intermittent continuum of horse like noises was deliberated on this part.
Talking to The Dependent, Mushahid said the neighing was deliberate and so was the prolonged gait.
“Yes, it was me. I was the who went neeeeeeeeehawwwwwwwwwwww,” outside Jati Umra on Sunday. “And it was also I who was running around like a headless horse in the build up to all those sounds”.
While Mushahid confirmed that he went to Nawaz’s residence following the former premier’s invitation, he said there had been no discussion on the neighing or the gaiting.
“I did that in my personal capacity, just like pretty much everything that I have been doing over the past year or so, since I actually left PML-Q a long time ago,” he told The Dependent.
When asked the reasons behind his actions outside and inside the Jati Umra Residence, Mushahid said, “it was for the sanctity of vote and supremacy of democracy.”
He further confirmed that he will repeat similar actions “at the forefront for the PML-N” and “firmly behind Nawaz.”
