SARGODHA: Two labourers were killed in separate incidents during stone cutting in Sillanwali police limits.
Police sources state that on Monday Naveed s/o Muhammad Akram, a resident of Chak 113/SB, was cutting stones at Qaim Stone Crushing Market at the top of hills without wearing safety equipment when he slipped from a considerable height and died on the spot.
Another labourer, Muhammad Imran was fixing a blast material in Chak 123/SB for the crushing market when boulders fell on him, also killing him on the spot.
Police handed over the bodies to the heirs after legal formalities.
