ISLAMABAD – The authority that took over whatever little there remained to be taken over, distributed cash among the remnants of civilian government authority as they were formally released from duty on Monday.

“Yeh humari taraf se. Kya hum aapke saath nahi hain?” (This is from us. Aren’t we with you?) said the individual authorized after finally releasing the prisoners of governance, following an agreement with those in-charge after three weeks in the capital.

It is pertinent to mention here that civilian government’s authority has been gradually sent packing over the course of this year, with this week’s release being considered among the final remaining batches.

“Baqion ko bhi nikaaleinge” (We will release the rest as well) said the individual authorized, while distributing the travel fare among those released.

Each individual with civilian authority, after being released from the captivity of responsibility, authority, integrity and self-respect was given Rs 1,000 fare to travel back home.

At press time, the civilian government’s authority was checking Careem and Uber apps, but a surge in prices kept it waiting for the journey home.

“Jee airport jaana hai,” (I’d like to go to the airport) said the civilian government’s authority after stopping a regular taxi cab on Faizabad Interchange.
