LAHORE – After two months of demanding what his crime was, ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif came clean as he addressed a press conference on Tuesday, two days after returning from London.
Speaking in front of the media, hours after appearing in the accountability court, Nawaz admitted that he is being punished for being an ‘adorable bull of fur’.
Talking about his disqualification following the Panama Papers case, Nawaz said that “when [the Supreme Court judges] could not find proof [of his wrongdoing], they made a joint investigation team, and told the National Accountability Bureau [NAB] to open references.”
“When they couldn’t find anything against me, they just got rid of me for being cuteness overload – an adorable ball of fur,” the ousted premier added.
Nawaz stressed that just because he had returned from London, does not mean he has comeback any less of a sweetheart.
“Fleeing from the courts is not our way. We respect the constitution and the courts. I have [in the past] worn handcuffs – which did not impact how much of a cutie pie I am.”
“This is the first case that the burden of proof is placed with the cuties, and the rights of deflect against a hard to contest allegation not provided,” he alleged.
“When legal experts themselves could not disagree over the indisputable honey boo that am, what could I do?”
