Voting through SMS and websites have opened for the Grand Mega Finale of the Hashmi Ispaghol Smooth Citizens competition’s semi-final on the 17th of September.
“These two semi-finalists, who are the winners of their own sub-competitions in their own right, are going to face each other now and the final result is going to be announced on the 29th of this month,” said Saleem Hassan, head of Marketing, Hashmi Group. “We would urge you all to vote for your favourite!”
The two finalists were said to be the crowd favourites from the beginning of their respective sub-competitions but neither were the judges’ favourites. “The band Badnaam had the judges’ respect while the PTI’s Yasmin Rashid also seemed to have the judges on her side.”
“Oh, my God, I can’t wait for the results, so I can see Kashmir beat that Kashmiri’s prospects in this competition,” said Harid Tohid, a supporter of the band.
“Do all your dancing and music,” said Inayatullah, a voter of NA-120. “But mark my words, ‘Ikk vaari faer! Sherrr!”
