Rawalpindi: A sanitary worker has been gunned down in a firing incident within the Sadiqabad Police jurisdiction.
Asif Masih, a resident of Sadiqabad, lodged a complaint with the local police that his son was at his work place when unidentified persons barged in and started firing at Sehri on Chandi Chowk, leaving him dead.
The body was shifted to Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The deceased was identified as Asher Maseeh, hailing from Dhok Syedan.
The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
