KARACHI: In a search operation carried out by the paramilitary forces last night, at least four terrorists, including a woman were killed.
The terrorists were hiding in a building in the Urdu Bazaar area of Karachi. On a tip-off, a heavy contingent of paratroopers cordoned off the area and began the operation.
Fire trade between the terrorists and the rangers left at least six people, including four paratroopers wounded.
According to the rangers, five-year old child also passed away in the crossfire.
Rangers recovered a huge cache of firearms and ammunition from the possession of these alleged terrorists.
The encounter continued for at least seven hours, and ended when three terrorists blew themselves up.
One of the alleged terrorists was gunned down by the rangers.
