Body of a girl found from a house in Karachi

A body of teen girl has been found from a house within the Khawaja Ajmir Nagri police jurisdiction in Karachi.

A neighbour informed the police about the body of a girl in Khawaja Ajmir Nagri area of North Nazimabad on Friday. The police reached the area and shifted the body to local hospital for medico-legal formalities.

According to an initial investigation by police, the 20-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide. However, hospital sources said that signs of torture were found on the body of the girl. A source further revealed that victim was allegedly murdered by the husband who fled the scene.

The police gathered evidence and investigation is underway in the case.
